These are some main reasons for crooked nose:
1. Swelling and Healing Changes:
Swelling after rhinoplasty is one of the main reasons for a crooked nose. The swelling is uneven due to which our nose is crooked temporarily. Once the swelling starts to reduce , the crooked appearance of the nose will improve naturally.
2. Unsupportive Surgical Technique:
Due to unsupportive surgical technique our nose may look crooked. During surgery if the cartilage or bones are not reinforced properly then it may cause the nose to slightly bend or lean.
3. Pre-Nasal Deviation:
A crooked nose can reappear if the nose was deviated before surgery. Severe bends in the septum or nasal bones which are difficult to fully correct, and sometimes the natural structure tries to shift back during healing. Due to nose surgery, it reappears.
4.Scar Tissue Format:
After surgery scar tissue can develop unevenly inside the nose. In some cases , this tissue becomes thick or forms more on one side which pulls the nasal structure and can make the nose look crooked.
5.Weak or Shifting Cartilage:
Nose is mainly made of cartilage. After rhinoplasty, the nasal cartilage is too soft or weak to hold a new nose shape. As it cannot hold nose shape, it can make nose look tilt or mild curvy which makes nose look crooked.

It is the second surgery which is performed after the nose is healed from rhinoplasty performed earlier. This procedure is more detailed and can help in restoring nose shape and functions.
3.Steroid Injections:
Steroid injections makes tissue soft and helps in shrinking which helps in balancing nose shape. These injections are given in small doses over time and makes the nose look better.
