In this article, we will look at certain changes through which one can enhance their meals, as mentioned by Tamannaah Bhatia's fitness coach, Siddhartha Singh.

He mentioned that Indian foods usually tend to become more "carbs on top of carbs", which provides quick energy, but they lack the balance for long-term fitness goals and sugar levels.

However Singh mentioned that eating too many rotis or chapattis can lead to high blood sugar levels and make weight management a difficult task. He suggested that eating one or two rotis helps in freeing space for other nutritious food like proteins and fibers and also provides satisfaction of a meal.
The potato based dishes like aloo ki sabzi are known to be comfort food for people as they are filled with flavors and provide satisfaction. Siddhartha Singh mentioned that portion control helps to maintain balance and are not totally unhealthy.

Siddharth suggests that having a small bowl of salad to the meal helps in adding more fibre and roughage. This supports digestion and helps improve the gut health as well. It does not add extra calories and keeps people full for a longer time.

Singh mentioned that adding high protein in the meals such as Greek yogurt which offers almost 20 grams of protein and paneer can be a good addition to the meal as Indian meals usually miss out a lot protein food items.

He mentioned that small eating is as essential as consistent training which can be effective as strenuous exercise.
